AER LINGUS TAKES OFF FROM BLACKPOOL!
There were Irish celebrations at Blackpool International as Aer Lingus took to the skies for the very first time from the resort.
In a welcome boost to business and tourism across Lancashire and the Lake District, Aer Lingus Regional commenced the Blackpool to Dublin route yesterday (Sunday March 28th 2010).
Departing passengers were treated to great Irish music and dancing and Irish stew and Guinness while they waited to board the first Aer Lingus flight out of Blackpool.
One of our very own team members even had their daughter in the extravaganza! Congratulations, the day went really well.
