There’s loads you can put into your LinkedIn profile to generate new leads, so fill in as many fields as possible when you register. You should also try and add in:
1) Keywords in the description of your group to increase your search rankings on LinkedIn’s search section. 2) Keywords in the title of the group to be found on Google. 3) Your company website or blog to drive traffic to your site. 4) Your blog RSS feed to the group so every new article is automatically posted to the home page of every group member. 5) Recommendations – ask happy customers to recommend your business, word of mouth can work wonders. 6) Promotional events, offers and current marketing activity. 7) Polls – simply create a poll and distribute it to your networks and/or specific people you want to hear from. You can view and analyse real-time results to get the inside info on what people are saying about your business.
You can also send weekly messages that add value for group members and drive traffic back to your site. All of which will help you generate more leads for your business. Set your sales pitch up correctly and you can acquire more than enough business contacts… and then connect with their contacts… and so on.
