Many of you have noticed that Google Places has changed its format. If you want to know more about the change, or how to list your business, read on…

Google Places has been tossed aside and replaced by a new, more comprehensive service that Google calls, Google+ Local Pages

The new service aims to merge business listings from search, maps, mobile and Google+ into a single, manageable service.

It’s worth mentioning that you will continue to manage your listing through the Google Places interface, found here, but we assume this will be changing quite soon.

We imagine that your business listing will be accessible through your Google+ Account, if you don’t have one already, you can sign up by clicking here. Our assumptions are based on the new tab available entitled “Local”.

As soon as Google begins to formalise the listing process, we’ll be in touch with a more comprehensive tutorial to keep you up to speed. Until then, if you have any questions, please contact your account manager and they will be happy to help.
